We’d love to hear your insights about what it’s been like looking for work.

This short survey (5 to 10 minutes tops) asks about what types of employment programs you use and some questions about your health and wellbeing.

If you complete the survey we’ll combine your responses with those from everyone who takes part to get a sense of the types of employment programs that are useful and how this relates to young peoples’ health.

We will include survey findings in reports and papers we write on employment programs and youth health. You will never be identified and we will never report individual responses.

While we’re very keen to hear your feedback, completing the survey is voluntary and will not impact the services you receive from employment providers or your participation in programs.

If you complete one or more survey questions we will take this as your consent for us to use your responses as outlined above. As thanks for completing this survey, you will be entered into the draw to win:
  • An Apple iPad
  • 1 of 2 Bose headphones
  • 1 of 4 $250 vouchers
  • 1 of 20 $50 vouchers

Your responses will be anonymous – we will only ask for identifying information to enter you into the prize draw, but this will never be tied to your answers. We may also ask if you want to do a longer survey and if it is okay for us to recontact you for a similar survey in 6 months’ time.

This survey is being conducted by The Social Research Centre (SRC) on behalf of Melbourne University. If you have any questions about the survey, please email:
